Personnel Checks Expands Platform to include Right-to-Work Checks

Personnel Checks is proud to announce that they are now offering Right to Work (RTW) checks within its screening platform.

Employers are legally required to verify the Right to Work of all employees, with penalties of up to £45,000 per illegal worker. The Personnel Checks platform allows businesses to stay compliant by digitally verifying RTW status alongside DBS checks, streamlining the recruitment process.

These RTW checks can be completed as standalone checks, or, in combination with any other background check that Personnel Checks offer.

Personnel Checks has expanded its partnership with government-certified identity service provider Yoti to deliver this service natively within their platform. Having previously partnered with Yoti for secure Online Identity Verification (OIDV), this enhanced collaboration enables seamless digital RTW checks for UK businesses.

These checks can be conducted digitally for any British or Irish passport holder. For non-passport holders (and non-UK nationals), there is an alternative digital solution relying on the UK Government share code service.
